Terms of Service

The terms for using the Natus app and natusblueprint.com.

Last updated 15 August 2026

These Terms of Service (these Terms) are the agreement between you and Natus Blueprint for the Natus iOS app, natusblueprint.com, and related services (together, the Service). Please read them. Using the Service means you agree to these Terms and that you have read our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Your agreement with us

When you download the Natus app, create an account, buy a subscription, or visit natusblueprint.com, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms work with our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. You can read it at natusblueprint.com/privacy.

If you use Natus on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Who we are

Natus Blueprint operates Natus from Australia.

Questions about these Terms or the Service: support@natusblueprint.com.

Natus is currently available as an iOS app through the Apple App Store. The website is a marketing and information site. It does not replace the app.

3. Who can use Natus

Natus is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use the Service.

You must be able to form a binding contract under the law that applies to you. You must use Natus in line with these Terms and all applicable laws.

Natus is not made for children. Generated replies can be personal and emotionally sensitive. If you are under 18, do not use Natus. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

We may refuse, suspend, or end access if we reasonably believe you do not meet these rules, or if you were previously removed for serious misuse.

4. What Natus is

Natus is a personal Blueprint journal. It uses your birth details, journal entries, and conversations to help you see how you operate, then offers Daily Notes, Ask replies, a First Reading, Sunday Reading, and related writing for reflection.

Some replies and readings are generated by automated systems. They are written for you from information you provide and from the Blueprint we compute. They are not a live human counsellor sitting with you.

We may add, change, or retire features as the Service grows. If a change removes a paid feature you already paid for, we will handle that in line with Apple's rules and Australian Consumer Law.

5. Natus is not professional advice

Natus is a tool for reflection and self understanding. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, insurance, housing, employment, or other professional advice. It is not therapy. It is not a crisis service. It does not diagnose, treat, or manage any condition.

You must use your own judgement. Check anything that matters before you act, especially health, safety, money, legal, or work decisions. If you need professional help, speak with a qualified person in that field.

Generated writing can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or a poor fit for your situation. Similar wording may appear for other people. Treat Natus as a prompt for reflection, not as fact and not as a substitute for a professional.

If you are in immediate danger in Australia, call 000. For crisis support in Australia, call Lifeline on 13 11 14. If you are elsewhere, use your local emergency number.

6. Safety and emergencies

If you tell Natus you may be at risk of harm, the app may show a fixed safety message with local help lines. That message is not counselling and does not mean a person at Natus is watching in real time.

We are not responsible for health, safety, or social concerns that can come with heavy phone use, including isolation or feeling dependent on an app. If you have questions about your health or mental state, speak with a qualified professional.

7. Your account

Your Natus account may start from a private device identifier. You can also sign in with Apple or another sign-in method we offer so your data can follow you to a new device.

You are responsible for the device you use, for keeping it locked, and for any Face ID, passcode, or other lock you turn on in Natus. If someone else can use your unlocked phone, they may see your journal and chats.

Do not use another person's account. Do not share sign-in details. Tell us at once at support@natusblueprint.com if you think someone else has used your account.

We may send service emails about your account, billing, legal updates, or security. If we send marketing email, you can opt out using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. That is in line with Australia's Spam Act 2003. Opting out of marketing does not stop account or legal notices.

8. Your licence to use Natus

While you follow these Terms, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install the Natus iOS app on Apple devices you own or control, and to use the Service for your own personal reflection.

This is a licence, not a sale. We keep all rights we do not expressly give you. Paid features last for the period you have paid for through Apple, unless the law says otherwise.

9. Fair use of Natus

Please use Natus honestly and legally. Except where a restriction is not allowed by law, you agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:

10. Your content stays yours

Your journal entries, chat messages, photos you attach, voice notes, onboarding answers, and similar material you submit (Your Content) belong to you or your licensors. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

To run Natus for you, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and display Your Content only as needed to provide the Service, keep your history available to you, generate readings and replies for you, keep the Service secure, and follow the law. This licence exists so Natus can work for you. It is not a right to sell your writing or to use it for advertising.

We do not sell Your Content. We do not use Your Content to train our own models. We do not use it to build an advertising profile. Detail sits in the Privacy Policy.

You confirm you have the right to submit Your Content, including any third-party details you include, and that it does not break the law or someone else's rights.

Natus is a private journal. It is not a public social network. We do not have a general duty to monitor everything you write. We may review, filter, or remove content where we reasonably need to for safety, security, legal requests, or to operate the Service.

11. Generated writing (Output)

When you use Ask, Daily Notes, First Reading, Sunday Reading, Blueprint writing, or similar features, Natus may return generated text, and in some cases other media (Output).

As between you and us, you may keep and use Output for your personal reflection. That does not give you ownership of our software, models, prompts, or brand.

Because of how these systems work, Output may not be unique. Another person might see similar wording. Output can also be inaccurate or unsuited to you. You must check it before you rely on it.

If we reasonably believe Output may infringe someone else's rights, we may ask you to stop using that Output.

12. What belongs to Natus

The Natus name, lotus mark, app, website, design, software, documentation, and the systems behind Blueprint, readings, and replies belong to Natus Blueprint or our licensors. You do not gain ownership of them by using the Service.

If part of the Service uses open source software, those licences still apply and may override these Terms for that code only.

If you send us ideas or feedback, you give us the right to use that feedback to improve Natus without paying you. Do not send us anything you need to keep secret.

13. Subscriptions, trials, and Apple billing

Some parts of Natus are free. Paid plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Apple, not Natus, charges your Apple ID. We do not see or store your full card number.

List prices are in US dollars (USD). That is the pricing currency. Apple then shows you the charge in your local App Store currency, which may include tax. You are not billed the USD amount plus a second local amount. You pay the local price Apple displays at checkout.

Current headline plans:

14. Auto-renewal, cancel, and refunds

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Apple will charge the then-current price for that plan unless Apple's rules or the law require notice of a price change first.

To cancel: open iPhone Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Natus, and cancel. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.

If you start a free trial, cancel before the trial ends if you do not want to be charged. Apple bills when the trial converts.

Apple handles most refund requests under Apple's refund rules. You can also contact us at support@natusblueprint.com and we will help you find the right Apple path.

Nothing in these Terms takes away refund or other rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including where a service has a major failure or is not provided with due care and skill. If ACL requires a refund or other remedy, you still have that remedy.

If we change a price, the new price applies to future renewals after the notice Apple and the law require. It does not rewrite a period you already paid for.

15. Using Natus without paying

You can use parts of Natus without a paid plan, including onboarding and a First Reading, plus a limited number of free Ask messages each week. Limits may change. We will not silently remove access you already paid for.

Deeper writing, Sunday Reading, the full Blueprint, and other paid features need an active subscription or another paid product we offer.

16. Privacy

How we collect, use, disclose, store, and delete personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. That policy is part of your agreement with us.

Natus is operated from Australia. Where the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles apply, we handle personal information in line with those rules. Some processors sit outside Australia, including in the United States. Detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Read the Privacy Policy any time at natusblueprint.com/privacy. Privacy requests: support@natusblueprint.com or privacy@natusblueprint.com.

17. Extra terms for the iOS app (Apple)

These Terms are between you and Natus Blueprint, not Apple. Your use of the iOS app must also follow Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions and any App Store rules that apply.

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Natus. If the iOS app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app (if any) to you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Other claims are between you and us.

We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing claims about the iOS app, including product liability, consumer law claims, and claims that the app fails a legal requirement. If a third party claims the iOS app infringes their intellectual property, we, not Apple, are responsible for that claim to the extent these Terms require.

Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this section. Once you accept these Terms, Apple may enforce this section against you as a third-party beneficiary.

You may incur mobile data charges from your carrier. Those charges are yours.

18. Other companies we rely on

The Service uses other companies to work, including Apple and RevenueCat for subscriptions, hosting and database providers, and model providers that help generate replies and readings. Their terms may apply to their own services.

The website and app may link to third-party sites. We do not control those sites. Their terms and privacy rules apply when you leave Natus.

19. Ending the Service

You can stop using Natus at any time. To delete your account and server data, use Delete Account in the app (You, then Privacy and data), or email support@natusblueprint.com. Deleting the app from your phone does not delete server data on its own.

We may suspend or end access if you seriously misuse the Service, break these Terms, put people or our systems at risk, or if we must do so by law. We will act reasonably. Where we end access for convenience rather than your breach, we will not keep charging you for periods after access ends, and any refund will follow Apple's rules and Australian Consumer Law.

Sections that should survive still survive, including your content licence for copies we must keep by law, IP, disclaimers, liability limits (to the extent allowed), and governing law.

20. Disclaimers

We work to keep Natus reliable. Still, except for rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and any other rights that cannot be excluded, the Service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that every Output will be accurate.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

If you are a consumer and the Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy. For a major failure you may reject the service and get a refund for the unused portion, or keep it and get compensation for the drop in value. For a minor failure we may repair or replace the service.

21. Liability

This section applies only to the extent Australian law allows. It does not limit liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, where the law does not let us limit that.

Where we are allowed to limit our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee in relation to services that are not of a kind ordinarily acquired for personal, domestic, or household use, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

Subject to the Australian Consumer Law and the paragraph above, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, or loss of data that was not reasonably foreseeable, and our total liability to you for a claim is limited to the amount you paid for Natus in the 12 months before the claim, or AUD 100, whichever is greater.

22. Complaints and the law that applies

If something is wrong, email support@natusblueprint.com first. We will try to sort it out with you. We aim to reply within a reasonable time on Australian business days.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Federal Court of Australia. That means you can also use any court or tribunal that the law gives you, including a small claims list or ACAT-style forum where it applies.

We do not require you to give up a class action, a jury, or a court hearing as a condition of using Natus. US-style forced arbitration does not apply.

If you are outside Australia, local consumer laws in your country may still give you extra rights. Those rights sit on top of these Terms where they cannot be excluded. Natus is offered in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, and may be offered in other places over time. Access is not allowed where it would be illegal.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as Natus grows or as the law changes. The date at the top will change when we do.

If a change is material, we will give reasonable notice, for example in the app, by email, or on this page. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel any subscription through Apple. If you keep using Natus after the notice period, that is acceptance of the updated Terms, except that we cannot take away rights the law does not let you waive.

24. General

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any extra terms we present for a specific feature are the whole agreement for the Service.

If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part on one occasion, we can still enforce it later.

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a sale of the business, provided your consumer rights stay in place.

These Terms are written in English. If there is a translation, the English version governs unless a local law says otherwise.

Export and sanctions laws may apply. You must not use Natus if that would break Australian sanctions or other applicable trade laws.
